Posted By malky26 Hi All,
I have been asked by my employer to create a Handover document which will be used on our fleet of offshore rigs by the STC's (Safety Coordinators)The aim of the Handover is to inform and guide the oncoming STC as to what has been happening during there hitch and what the on-coming STC must plan for. This document is going to be in place to give some structure to the Handover process which currently can range from a sheets of A4 to a post-it.
Any advice or information will be appreciated.
Cheers Malcolm

Posted By B Smart Hi Malky,
Have you tried using a diary? It only takes 5 mins at the end of the shift to describe the events of each day. You can use the headings of
1) Current operations 2) Daily HSE Issues 3) Inspections/Audits 4) Meetings 5) Inductions/Training 6) Alerts/Accidents/Incidents 7) Comunications from town, etc....
You can use the diary provided with MS Outlook for convienance and security if you want.
Hope this helps
B. Smart
