Can you provide more information on exactly what you people are doing with the pads? I might then be able to respond.

Hi
Staff in a residential retirement home have to handle them, mainly for disposal as most residents are pretty able, if not quite continent

Hi Chris,

Good sources of advice on this include HTM-07, NHS Estates guidance on safe disposal of clinical waste, and if you do a quick web search on clinical waste you will probably find several NHS Trust policies on the net; of course these shouldn't be plagiarised, but you will find much useful information in them.

I am assuming you are not an NHS organisation, but NHS guidance and policies do tend to set benchmarks in areas like this,

Hi Chris,

I take it you have not done one previously on this, where or who is now telling you you have to?
