Posted By Sally Is there a maximum temperature for water coming out of a cold tap in an office.
I'm aware of the issues around legionella risks and that warmer water often tastes odd but am wanting to know if there are any legal requirements

Posted By stevehaigh I believe the virus thrives at temps between 20 - 45 degrees therefore cold water should be below 20

Posted By Chas I believe that water authorities are expected to supply cold water at temperatures below 20 degrees C although they are permitted to supply cold water up to a temperature of 25 degrees C. Hope this helps.
