it depends on the type of site you have but generally things like:

Asbestos/hazardous materials register
existing H&S file
any historic information in regards to the site, i.e what is there/what was there before
test certificates i.e lifts/electrical etc
any risk assessment for the site
any reports or surveys
any available service information

Plus, any client requirements such as input to the site rules/ environmental restrictions/ anything else which may impact or be impacted on by the project

note the list is not inclusive, and I'm just leaving but hope the above gives you a few ideas along the right track..
