I have a safety data sheet that has exposure limits as MAC's I have compared them with WEL's and they do not match. If anyone out there knows what a MAC I would appreciate their help.

MAC means Maximum accepted concentration

Accepted not to be confused with acceptable.

What it the country of origin is it the netherlands, germany france?

You can just use the Data sheet for reference and transpose the WEL out of the EH40 for use over here when you do your COSHH assessment.

It is the term used by the Netherlands and stands for 'Maximale aanvaarde concentratie', it won't tie up with WEL's.

You will fine that the dutch 'Maximale aanvaarde concentratie' translates to Maximum Accepted Concentration. not acceptable, accepted
