Posted By Wayne Pitt Has anyone else seen the attached news article about an English Safety Manager who has been sent to jail for the deaths of 2 workers on site? Is this typical of Dubai legal methods or maybe a trend towards forcing greater compliance. A trend to greater compliance. But legal methods should be reviewed for example, the employer is not giving any funds for the H&S and then accident happen..... who will be responsible.....only the H&S person and the manager of the person involved?

Without more details it's hard to form an opinion. Where the two men instructed to travel that way or were they told not to travel that way? Is there any evidence of either?
