Posted By Phil Merrison Under the old exposre limits which included OES (occupational exposure standards) and MEL's (maximum exposure limits), OES's could be exceeded and work could stiil be undertaken, MEL's being exceeded required work to be stopped immediately. Having reviewed EH 40 it does not specify the requirements for exceeding a WEL? I assume that the WEL's have the same standing as the old MEL's and OES conditions no longer apply, can anybody please confirm that this is the case.
