Posted By safetyq Hi All,
Just wondering if any of you can help me out with this one.
We have a factory floor which is used by both pedestrians and forklifts and we would like to mark it out so that pedestrians are traffic are segregated. We also want to mark out lines around machinery.
My question is- is there a specific dimension for a pedestrian walkway and a traffic route for forklifts etc? Or is it OK to have lines marked out where machinery etc is?
All help appreciated.

Posted By Steve I would suggest that mere lines are not enough. It may be necessary to create physical barriers where the interface between FLT and pedestrians 'must' occur. (dependant on space, racking height, and any number of variables)
