Posted By Ali Does anyone have or know where I can get hold of a "daily checklist" for conducting visual checks on scaffolding ? This is not to be confused with the weekly inspections. I refer to general access scaffold - tube & fitting. Also, one for the simpler mobile tower would be handy. Many thanks. Ali Sooltan

Posted By rees davies Ali, do you have an inspector at your work place as he should be able to help you devise one. failing that you could try the NASC website which offers some reasonably priced publications.

Posted By rees davies Ali, what exactly is it you want to do. Is it a checklist for users on a daily basis or for safety audit purposes. As an advisor for a company that erects/dismantles scaffolding I would suggest that all that comes with an inspectors role is to make sure that the scaffold is fit for use and takes into consideration weather, weight, usage etc and that inspection is based on those and other criteria including the seven day rolling program. Are you experiencing misuse of scaffolding? or is the work your company is undertaking not familiar with scaffolding practice and are those that will be doing the checklist familiar with scaffolding.

Posted By Ali Thank you all for your advice. Our company only has one person competent enough to inspect. I am referring to daily visual checks that roofers etc can carry out prior to use on our various sites even though it may have been inspected initially and weekly thereafter. I shall look at the websites you suggested. Thanks
