What are the thoughts out there re horticultural and similar workers when they are working on construction sites with regards to; -
Do they hold 'H&safety' competence cards? Should they hold such cards? Is there an equivalent that is specific to their industry? etc
At this time I expect all construction workers etc to be competent and one way to help prove competence is that they have appropriate CSCS and such cards. Additionally I insist that horticultural and such workers prove that they are also competent
What do others do?

Posted By Phillip Kirby you could look into the 'CRO' (construction related occupation) route from CSCS, they need to take the touch screen test and are certified as competent by the employer, its designed for occupations outside the traditional scope of construction trades.
