Posted By NMC As a matter of interest and opinion, I would welcome response on how (in what form) Client's are satisfying this requirement upon them under CDM?
Are some producing a formal document? Record of meetings held? etc....
Any input / observed practice, gratefully received. Many thanks in advance.

Posted By Ron Hunter And if they aren't, are others keeping them right? (Designers, CDM-C etc.) These "arrangements" can be a simple one-pager of 'who does what and when', particularly for simple Projects. On more complex Projects, I'd expect the CDM-C to have a pivotal role.

Posted By CFT Have to agree with Ron's wise words, I have yet to find a client that has been left out to dry by inadequate management arrangements.
I am working with several clients throughout my International Group and projects are specifically being clientised by the head (MD) of each division, auditing relevant procedures I have found that all meetings are minuted, and sufficient documentation is being kept and made reference to, especially all the amendments to the design side, (wish they could get it right after 6 attempts at least).
In some cases once the project is complete we may even need to build a premises to archive said documents, so in some cases it is going way over the top and I am keen to ensure a uniformity.
CDMC's engaged seem to be taken the role thus far very seriously with great concern that the client is suitably protected, nothing to do with the client waving a big stick around I suppose???
