Can anyone expand on quantified arson vulnerability assessment ? I have seen reference to it but can't pin it down.

This should be undertaken as part of any fire risk assessment, it refers to the level of risk that any premise is subject to from an arson attack. So you may wish to consider openings in the building structure such as letter boxes. To lower the arson vulnerability you may consider CCTV & security fencing. I would agree with Darren they have just added the word "quantified" to make it sound posher or more complicated.
make sure rubbish is kept to a minimum, rubbish bins are stored away from buildings and secured. perimeter fencing, security lights, signs of attempted ignition, burglar alarm, security patrol company, cctv.

Posted By garyh Thanks for the replies. I have found that there is a questionaire http://www.arsonpreventi...Files/School%20arson.pdf aimed at schools where you score two questionaires, combine the scores and get a number showing if you have a problem or not.
