Posted By trevor clohessy With regard to the aforementioned regulations, now that the CR Forms are no longer required for for lifting equipment,i.e.have been replaced by a standard test certificate, have the weekly inspections i.e. CR 4B also been replaced?
Thanks in advance for all responses?

Posted By Seamus O Sullivan Hi trevor
I have some queries about the above as well. As you know they will be in operation tomorrow.

Posted By Kevin Kelly as with every piece of legislation in this country it is full of grey areas. These regs are in place tomorrow and the info/advice regarding them is at an absolute minimum. Until I get further direction I will still insist on the production of the CR forms. I'd imagine some follow up document on how to work to these regs will follow sometime next year. Since the lifting operations have been taken from the const regs they must have devised news forms, but again we in the field will be among the last to know!

Posted By Crim It appears that this is Irish Repiblic legislation, any ideas on it becoming copied by UK legislators? The Republic lead the way again!
