Does anybody know of a free COSHH database with loads of nasty products in. I.e not US products but generic stuff like brick dust etc.

What do you mean by COSHH database? Do you mean a site with lots of SDS's on? Most of these require payment. However, if you google for the name of the chemical / product and use the suffix sds or msds you should find plenty of info. Hope this helps

Oxford University produce an excellent free web-based set of generic MSDS. They do of course qualify it with a disclaimer.

Although there are many databases available for 'chemicals', including preparations, I know of none for more mundane substances such as brick dust or, for that matter, welding fume which are generated on site as opposed to being bought in.
