Has anyone carried out this work (ideally a local authority) covering all documents from risk assessments to training records.

or

Anyone know where to get this information, I have seen training records for 7 years and risk assessments for 5 years but no explanation on why these periods have been set.

All help will be very appreciated - thank you

I have a dilemma now with the recent changes to insurance retention (40 years). Any works that fall into a category of 'becoming live after many years' should IMO have all relevant documentation kept. Where do you draw the line? I shall be 92 if any of this years events become an issue.
