Posted By Margaret Stokes It's actually ISRS - International Safety Rating System, developed by DNV, see www.dnv.com, I was involved in it's implementation in a start-up operation in the extractive industry a few years ago, found it a very effective way to develop a safety management system and reached level 8 within a three year period. Posted By Merv Newman I think ISRS actually started with the International Loss Control Institution, ILCI, fondly named as Elsie. This is/was an American consulting group with a good reputation but known as being very expensive (good results though)
DNV may well have developed their own version, for small sites. I don't know it (more info from someone would be interesting) but I do have a very good opinion of DNV. Professional.

Trust me. I too are a consultant

I worked for DNV in the past who manage ISRS.
If you email me direct I can provide more help and put you in touch with the relevant people at DNV if you need.
