Just seen the program for the above. Is it just me who has difficulty in actually finding any of the conference tracks of interest or relevant?
And it's at Telford again, great...

Sorry if I've offended anyone.

Tracks B and E would be my choice. However £500+ with travel and accommodation extra counts me out (again)

Hi

I'm not sure if all the information is available yet. I have a slot on the first day afternoon, which I believe will be valuable, but the information provided about content doesn't seem to be in there yet, so people can't assess whether to attend or not.

All the best

Ian

It isn't all there yet Ian, but at the risk of being labelled a creep the session that's down against your name was one of the ones that would have interested me - if I were going....

Cheers Heather

It's odd isn't it, the cost issue. When I worked in big organisations I was happy to attend many conferences and someone else always picked up the tab. Now the money effectively comes direct from my cash I have to always question every possible event.

I wonder if there are certain free parts, just for the exhibition, as it could still be an opportunity to meet people, or I could smuggle you in in my laptop bag!

Best wishes

Ian

Last year was my first conference. I did note that the exhibition area was free and is a good place for coffee and networking. Come to think of it...I spent most of my time there.

How big is your laptop bag Ian? :)

Seriously though I wonder if the cost is still an issue for many of us and how many of those might consider going just to the exhibition and networking there?

The cost is certainly an issue for most public sector people I think.

There is no way I could justify this expense from our limited budget and I believe that there are many others in that position.

I like Telford though...

I went to an IOSH exhibition without the conference element - well worth going for this alone, if within reasonable travel range.
