Routine tasks resulting in avoidable incidents:

I would welcome some pointers on presentation material which would be useful in steering employees towards the value of personal assessment of the routine tasks and the consequences of ignorance towards them.

The HSE title, HSG 48, addresses error and influencing behaviour which are both relevant to 'routine tasks resulting in avoidable incidents'. It is based in fairly rigorous research and is a good example of evidence-based professional practice.
