What is the minimum clearence between desks to give adequate emergency routes, if any is actually stated.

I'm interested in the anser to this also.

Is the layout not irrelevant if there is sufficient clearance around the furniture? Therefore what is that minimum?

What about the clearance between pencils? You could easily stub your fingers. Come to think of it the keys on this keyboard look a bit too close together as well!
