Posted By NSO Is it possible to calculate a c-peak figure from a z-peak reading? If so, could someone please tell me how to do it? Thanks in anticipation.

You can only calculate a weighted figure if you have the unweighted frequency analysis. If you only have a single, peak value then it can't be done.

Posted By Adrian Watson For most purposes the Z and C weighting will give the same result. The only time it makes a difference is with sounds with very low or very frequency components. The C weighting is roll on at low frequencies -roll off at high frequencies whilst z weighting is flat across all frequencies.
