Hi

Just a quickie

I have just contacted a training provider to book one of our employees on a 4 day course as we let his 3 year cert expire at his own request, he has now changed his mind so I looked to arrange a 4 day course, as I was under the impression that once the cert had expired he could not take the 2 day refresher course, the provider informed me that he could take the 2 days refresher as he was within 28 days of the certificate elapsing.

I have not heard this before have I missed something in the new regs?

They are quite correct - HSE made the change in the recent review of the FAW regs
