I am looking for some ideas for a load safety checklist. We have drivers that transport loads on our construction sites using tractor trailer, FLT's etc and most do a good job. We obviously have a risk assessment but what I would like to do is give them a checklist with a few reminders and wondered if anyone else has done something similar.
Any ideas/thoughts would be much appreciated.

I don't have a check list for you, but checks such as, not exceeding trailer/ axle ratings, connection of the trailer and tow eye, air lines and electrical connections, security of the load and use of nets/chains/ratchets and straps, keeping the trailers C of G as low as possible, tyres at correct inflation pressures, load from the trailer headboard rearwards, long/wide loads marked as such. If that helps for a start.
