I have done many risk assessments in manufacturing, but not for an area with Joe public and alcohol. I have been asked if i can help a friend out who has just bought a pub. Does anyone have a copy of one or advise anything that would be different from a normal r/a.

Many Thanks

While there are similarities with general risk assessments the Licensed Premises Risk Assessments cover a wider scope of information. Most local authorites provide their own versions of the guidance to be used for their areas, although it is all essentially the same. Having done these previously I have to say that you will need additional support until you are familiar with them. There are also slight variations between English and Scottish law in this area.

I'm fairly sure this one's been asked before. Try searching the forum with some key words.
