In the interests of training (and possibly comedy)does anyone have or know where I can obtain photos, powerpoint slides etc of examples of poor health and safety practice. I am not one to promote negative training but some bad practices can be used in a positve manner and retained as such. Any examples with regards to cranes or lifting would be great but I would also appreciate any photos etc from all industries. Thanks, JF. j.fitzmaurice@ale-heavylift.com

John,

try...

http://www.craneconsultants.com

http://craneaccidents.com

www.snopes.com/photos/accident/crane.asp (one of my favourites with car+crane+crane getting wet)

Most seem to be US based.

Google "crane accidents" or "crane failure" or "crane mishaps" etc

The US Navy Safety Centre Picture of the week is often a good source for pictures. You will recognise many of them from emails that go around.
