From an FLT training thread: If FLT drivers require refresher training (3, 5 years whatever) then it follows that company drivers (cars, vans etc) must also require refresher training. How often do you think this should be carried out?
Is this a valid point?

the L117 (ACOP for rider-operated lift trucks,Lift truck training)There is no specific requirement to provide refresher training after set intervals,but even trained and experienced operators need to be re assessed from time to time to ensure they continue to operate safely.this assessment,which should form part of the firms monitoring procedures.& be formally timetabled to ensure that this is done at reasonable intervals will indicate if any further training is required.
should'nt this practice be adopted ???
