I really need help with a hypothetical scenario for a toxic gas release (second interview looming).

I've bumped this back up as I really need some advice. I know my answers but just want to check them out. The Difficulty with COMAH is that you don't get the experience until you are on a COMAH site and these are few and far between.

Feel free to email - or post more info and i'll comment here.

If I can't help I know a man who can :)

Also where's your job. It may be my bosses job :)

What do you need to know?

I would just like to publicly thank Adam for phoning me (off forum) on a Saturday (his day off) to help a fellow member. Not only did he confirm my initial thoughts but he also gave me some additional information that was relevant and extremely useful.

Adam, if I get the job I promise to send you a bottle of Bubbly (or Scotch if that's your poison) to thank you for your input.

Wishing you all a Happy Christmas

Taff

(Lofty - to those who know me)

No Worries

It was a pleasure. I have received a lot of help myself from people on these forums and it's nice to be able to give something back.

Good luck!

And feel free to drop anymore questions!

Adam,

I owe you that bottle mate.

I would just like to let everyone else know that I have accepted the position of HS&E Manager for a major lower tier COMAH site today. I leave my present employer with much regret as they have been so good to me, but for all fellow members looking for new work please just remember to "keep the faith" as Bon Jovi said. Happy Christmas to you all and peace on earth to all safety practitioners.
