Can anyone point us in the right direction for sample assessments for engineering lathes, wood cross cut saws, chop saws etc.We had generic assessments but want to do machine specific.

Peter could you consider a machine type safety analysis.
A step by step approach of how a given machine is set up and then operated, right throught to job completion Need not be lenghty and you should be able to identify and control any hazards in each job steb.

HSE also publish a WIS series with a seperate guidance document for most of the woodworking machines you mention.
