The more H&S gets slated etc by the press the more we should take pride - think of yourselves as the '300 - Spartans' as they did a magnificent job just as we are doing and one day [in 12000 years time?] people will remember and thank us

So when you get down lift your heart and attack; and treat every little gain as another step towards final victory

Additionally the press are doing a magnificent job for the H&S professional by high profiling the area and making people realise, slowly but surely, just how poor the press really is - reverse psychology is taking place

So on this happy note I say 'once more into the breech' after your x-mass hol that is

Bob,

Thanks for that. We do need to remember that what we actually (not reputedly) do for a living does help people's working lives to be a bit safer, and maybe helps them keep some of their health when their work is over.

Sorry if that sounds a bit like a Tiny Tim moment, but a positive message is always a good thing,

I totally agree with the sentiments, but I seem to recall all 300 Spartans died!

Ah Gerry,

But to put it in its true perspective, so did all the Persians, ;-)

There were 300 spartans but they were part of a force of 3,300. They weren't 300 on their own.

Would that be the Media-Persians then?

If you made it the Persian Media it would give the Americans the chance they have always wanted to invade Iran...

Then all we would be left with was a noise problem!

Conflict, conflict, conflict,

Whatever happened to quiet revolution or indeed evolution. Why not take things a tad slower and bring the majority of people along with us rather than the majority of people behind us armed only with forked tongues and sharp daggers.

Merry Christmas.
