Could any kind soul please tell me where I can view some example Construction Phase Plans.
The current format we use has been slated (for being over the top, and I agree)during an external review and I would like another format to make a comparison against.

Any help appreciated.

I find it remarkable that such as a co-ordinator is stating that an organisation of your size is OTT. The plan is as long as the detail you put into it and as long as you cover the bases then there should be no complaints. I far too often see too short a plan rather than too long and I would never criticise the latter as long as it is relevant to the work.

My template has 13 sections normally, some of which may be only a short paragraph on some jobs and a couple of pages on others. HAving said that I find that descriptions of responsibilities are often extremely long and could readily be reduced to a reference to your organisations management system and the descriptions contained therein.

Sorry Bob,

I should explain that I meant the format was found to contain too much generic detail. This format was brought in pre April 07 and was meant to cover the new CDM regs (which it does) but the format is bulky and difficult to work with, not allowing easy input by the Construction teams.
I have been looking at our previous versions (which are much more site specific and easier to compile) but would also like to compare against other formats to gain a broader scope.

Thanks for you input,

Jason
