Posted By RBW100 Hi all,
I am trying to find a suitable course for Engineering managers to attend on Ammonia safety. The aim is make the managers aware of the hazards of ammonia as a refrigerant and allow them to formulate risk assessments and response plans for emergency situations.
Any one have some advice or experience of suitable courses? It would be nice if they were relatively close to Nottingham, but not essential.
Thanks,
Rob

Posted By David Bannister Rob, the gas supplier will probably have one ready to go although they may ask you to travel. A little commercial pressure may persuade them to do an in-house one for you.

Posted By Dave Todd BOC Gases used to run awareness courses. From memory, I think their advisors were mobile.
The specialist gas division was based at Stallingborough, Immingham.
If they can't help, I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.
