Can anyone tell me what the regs are for the storage of oil drums? As I need to see if we are complying with them. Also we have a 2000L diesel tank, does this come under the same regs?

Many thanks in advance

Hi Rob, on the proviso that your depot is in England, the Regulations you need to look at are:

The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001

The defra guidance on this can be found at the following link:

http://www.defra.gov.uk/...lstore/pdf/oil_store.pdf

If you need any further assistance drop me an e-mail as I have a lot of experience on this matter.

Good luck & Regards,
Ian

Hi Rob,

You might want to review the Pollution Prevention Guidelines PPGs)for Oil Storage.

The following link should take you to netregs site by Environment Agency.
