Hi - I am looking for some help in putting together a safety awareness program for our paint spray crew.

We use thinners (acetone) in 205L drums.

Some time ago with a previous employer and previous insurers I was shown a brief video of the effect of a 205L drum exposed to a fire. The effects you can imagine were dramatic and compelling in convincing people on the need for minimal work in progress storage.

Does anybody have any similar video clips (MPEG) or know where they might be found on the INTERNET - You Tube so far hasn't given up anything.

Also can somebody confirm the vapour/liquid expansion ratio for acetone and the surface area that would be covered by a liquid spillage - again compelling figures to convince people of the seriousness of the material that is being used.

thanks for any help or other ideas in putting together this training package

thanks

Martin
