In addition to the 1992 WorkPlace Reg's what else should be considered when planning the alteration of an existing toilet block i.e. provision, quality, disabled access etc. The alteration will also include a "sluice" for emptying buckets used for the cleaning of machinery (with non-hazardous products!).

Design, layout and equipment in a toilet facility can play a major role in maintaining high standards of skin care and personal hygiene. Getting it wrong has actually triggered poot standards resulting in dermatitis in at least one case that I have had to deal with.
It is too complex an issue to explain on the forum, but I will be happy to e-mail you some thoughts on this.
