Posted By Rob Shrimpton I need to source suitable equipment to facillitate the safe manual handling of cargo when loading and discharging curtain-sided HGVs. This equipment also needs to provide safe and legal access to the side of vehicles, and needs to be mobile and adjustable. It is my understanding that non-integrated forklift truck attachments are not suitable for regular, planned work activity so I require an access platform that both complies with legal requirements and enables the efficient loading and unloading of vehicles by hand in a freight forwarding operation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
