Has anyone got a template for the technical manual
Any contact details for certifying bodies
Dare I ask how much ?

there is a difficult question, CE markings are put on by the manufacturer, to say that he has complied with he relevent safety standards. it is not in itself a garantee of safety. you need to be aware of the standard that you are complying with. you may find more information at the HSE website.

Not everything requires a certifying body - some items can be CE marked in-house.
A good place to start your research is the DTI website: http://www.berr.gov.uk/d...n/regulations/index.html
They produce all sorts of downloadable booklets that give you the information you need (and tell you which products MUST be CE marked by an outside body)
