Posted By saira adams Has anyone any experience of a model trimmer (in a orthodentists) which is used for trimming dental models. It has an abrasive wheel, but is well guarded and is fairly easy to change the wheels. I would have thought it would be classed as an abrasive wheel, with competencies certified to change the wheel, but what are anyone else's thoughts. The model in question is the Gamberini Single Model Trimmer. The exact trimmer is as follows: http://translate.google....r%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DXlink

Posted By Mitch Saira, Have you tried the BDA? http://www.bda.org/. I would have thought that your RA would include consideration of training already received by Dentists, Technicians and Nurses would include competency training for this type of equipment and as such controls of use should cover it. Regards Mitch
