Posted By Trevor Anstey Hi Can somebody point me in the right direction? I came across some info from our RPE provider which states "Semi-disposable, no need to change filters, simply use for up to one month and discard, also under current legislation does not require the need to keep records" Which legislation are they referring COSHH or PPE Regs? I have both regs available and I cant seem to find it, which is a little embarrassing

Posted By Karen Todd COSHH Reg 9(4) referring to Reg 9(3): (4) Every employer shall keep a suitable record of the examinations and tests carried out in pursuance of paragraphs (2) and (3) and of any repairs carried out as a result of those examinations and tests, and that record or a suitable summary thereof shall be kept available for at least 5 years from the date on which it was made. (3) Where respiratory protective equipment (other than disposable respiratory protective equipment) is provided to meet the requirements of regulation 7, the employer shall ensure that at suitable intervals thorough examinations and, where appropriate, tests of that equipment are carried out.
