Posted By jom This isn't exactly an OSH issue, more an ergonomics one. Does anyone know of published advice on selection of a mobile phone for for an elderly person? In terms of ergonomics and ease of use. Amyone have thoughts or experience with this? Are there any phone companies who offer a product specially suited to the elderly? John.

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Jom Are the 'phones for general use or to summon assistance? Some 'phones have been designed with especially large keys so that they are easier to read and there is, I believe, a 'phone that is pre-programmed to ring just one number in the event of an emergency. I can't remember the name, I am afraid, but I saw a web report some time ago. Paul
