Hello fellow professionals. A good friend has asked if I would carry out risk assessments at the local gun club(clays only). These will mainly be for tasks such as refilling traps, marshaling the land etc. Whilst I am happy and competent to do so, is there anyone with similar experience that may know some not so obvious elements that I should also be considering.
Many thanks,
Phil

Whilst the BASC is probably the best place to look/start, you may also be interested in a CIEH publication (not sure if it is still in print) called Clay Target Shooting Guidance on the Control of Noise. It has some good general info, especually if you have difficulty with the Council/neighbours. You may also be interested in a HELA publication (LAC 47/4) about lead in air and safety at rifle ranges, although this deals purely with rifle shooting, not clays. Hope this helps.
