Ok slightly weird one, but hey, it is Friday!!!
My neice is currently studying an animal welfare course and as part of her course she has to design a tiger enclosure, she is having trouble getting information on prices for heavy gauge steel fencing which would be 5m high with a 1m overhang and perimeter would be 20m x 20m.
Any help?
she has given permission to give her email, so if you have any info that may be of help let me know and i will send her email on to you
many thanks in slight anticipation!!
Jo

You don't say where she is based but you could try a company called Archibalds. They supplied us with heavy duty steel mesh for our fencing. You can contact them on 01642 677 656 and at Lockheed Close, Preston Farm, Stockton, TS18 3SE.

The first part of her paper should read - 'as an animal care worker I am not employed as a designer so where animal enclosures are needed a professional designer would be consulted'
As usual it appears to me that the education people are bulking out the course

Bob's probably right unless the intent has been misinterpreted in that she is being asked to design the enclosure from a welfare and comfort point of view as opposed to the physical structure.
