Hi
I've come across a hard copy of a syllabus for Managing Safely in Schools - May 04 and as we are currently pulling together a programme for the new school year thought this may be useful.
Does anyone know if this is still current or has a relevant replacement?

A quick Google search showed that IOSH itself ran a course called “Managing Safely in Schools”, (see: http://www.warrington.go...er%20_4__tcm31-22173.pdf) so perhaps might be the first port of call.
The DCSF (previously DfES) has a number of documents on – teaching e-safety, travel safety, educational visits etc., plus documents such as Health and Safety: Responsibilities and Powers, the DCSF Staying Safe: Action Plan etc.
Go to: Teachernet Online Publications - http://publications.teac...ProductId=DfES+0218+2004 and search for “safely” and then a second search for “safety”
