Posted By Janet Cox We have a client based in the licensed industry, where one of their employees has advised that they are unable to wear the ear plugs provided due to a medical condition (our client has requested a letter from the employee's GP to confirm that this is the case). Obviously without the protection of ear plugs the employee will be exposed to levels above 85dB and the employer will be in breach of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. Has anyone come across this before and have any solutions. Many thanks Janet

Posted By Smurfer Is there any reason why he can't wear ear muffs rather than plugs?
