Posted By Eddie I am looking at the provision of training for school escorts who look after children with SEN, specifically in the management of challenging behaviour with minimum emphasise on physical intervention. If anyone would be interested in sharing their knowledge and experience in this area I would be very grateful. I have done some research into SCIP and PAT so I have some understanding of what is out there. Thanks for your help Eddie

Posted By Glyn Atkinson Eddie, Please send me a pm off Forum and I will give you a contact name in our local FE college who deals in this area of training of escorts and supervision of 16+ age group students (one to ones and multiple supervision) with all types of SE and disability needs, and the person also links in to 13 to 16yr olds for moves from schools up to further education. The person concerned works specifically in this field full time.
