I have been tasked to give a talk to local junior school on construction site safety. Anyone got any PPT's or dvd's or can advise me of any good stuff...

Pete, try talking to Construction Skills(CITB as was). They have loads of stuff aimed at schoolkids.

Having done many of these over the years I can assure you the shorter the PP can be, the better; alternatively try to include the usual gaggle of pictures that will ensure avid attention;-)

Pete,
a good one I have seen used at my wifes school during a construction phase was getting the kids to design safety posters.
These were then pinned up round the site boundary. It was great seeing the kids taking parents to look at the work they had done and how it was used.
The guys opening was great too:
'Any of you got size 12 steel toe capped safety boots like me'?
Collective 'no'
'Any of you got a bright yellow hard hat like me'?
Again a collective 'no'
'Any of you got a big fluorescent jacket with this name on the back'?
No
'Well none of you can come on our site then'...
