Posted By Sit Kin Yik I’m pursuing a diploma course in SHE, which require me to prepare a thesis related to SHE in electrical field.
I’ve the working experience in electrical transmission & distribution substations.
Could someone give me some hints / ideas in which specific topic / area should I concentrate to?
Thanks.

Posted By jom Sit Kin Yik,
How about examining safety issues associated with repairs to power reticulation systems after widespread storm damage?
A month ago in Melbourne, we had a tremendous wind storm that knocked out power at many locations. Lots of trees down. The effort to restore power was immense.
Sadly, an electrician with a power company was killed when attempting a repair (electrocuted).
John.

Posted By jom Sit Kin,
May I suggest you repost your request with your title including something about elec power systems?
That way you will get the interest of the best people for your area. People are too busy to read all postings.
If you title it "Looking for a good thesis topic on elec power systems safety", you'll get the right people reading it.
All the best,
John.

Posted By willhiem Well recently i've been a bit curious about the whole induction hearing loops and what implications they might have as regards to EMF regs or such like, its probably more of an occ health issue though. I havent looked into it myself but if you're in a bank, other office etc where these are in constant use does that create and occupational hazard?
maybe its only tiny, as i said i havent looked into at all myself, i probably should!!
