Hi,
How long do companies need to retain DSE assessments for?

Jimmy,

DSE assessments, like any other assessments should be a live 'document' that is reviewed on a regular basis. Once it has been reviewed and updated the original could be disposed of. However, be aware that in the event of a claim the assessment could form the basis of a defence, so you should keep it for at least three years, preferably longer.

Hope this helps.

As it is a personal assessment ie a named individual, I'd have thought 30 years - unfortunately I can't remember where I got that from!!!

Is that a lack of competence Crim?
