Posted By jayjay Linzi ! To be more precise an operator daily inspection is carried out and a record made weekly, though some companies insist on a daily record. The Report Of Thorough Examination is carried out annually. Thats what i meant to say :-) Regards, JJ

Posted By Mitch JJ, Yes if a man cage is used every 6 months, if the 'machine itself' is used to lift the man cage then that needs inspecting every 6 months as you would a forklift used for this purpose. Mitch
