Hi Guys,
Can any give me info regarding the Shipping of 5 drums of GaAS wafers (un2811, Tox. solid organic, PGII) within the UK for purposes of metal recovery. Is this classified as waste or not? and how do I ship it?

Sorry, should have said that all up weight is 183kg. I believe this is below the small load threshold but can anyone confirm this?

I'd get a second opinion on the UN number. It isn't an organic substance.
Could it be UN1557? An arsenic compound.

It may be a by-product of another process, but if it is to be used for metal recovery the GaAS wafer is not waste.

You have obviously classified this as a nos,
So how are you going to ship, road rail etc
DG rules and Haz Waste rules are two separate things, but do interlap, is it waste?
How do you intend packaging it - plastic drum., metal drum etc
will it be in one package or a number of packages
