Posted By ChrisinMalta Dear all, I am organising a conference to be held in Malta on the true costs of failures in h&s management. I'm looking for someone with first-hand experience of research in this area. We would pay expenses and any speaker would be assured of a wonderful time here in the heart of the Med! Any ideas???? Regards, Chris Hudson

Posted By Ross Stirton The best speaker I have heard is a QC by the name of Gerald Forlin, a barrister at 2 - 3 Gray's Inn Square. He has undertaken disaster cases all over the world including in this country, the Faversham coach crash, the Belle Tout Lighthouse case, the Barrow Legionnaires case, the Watford, Eastcote, Southall, Ladbroke Grove and Hatfield train crashes and numerous international air crashes involving British and foreign nationals. He has experience in representing doctors, nurses, individuals, directors and companies charged with manslaughter and has also conducted over 80 inquests and public inquiries. He regularly lectures to lawyers, companies and other safety professionals in the UK and abroad and regularly appears on television and radio as an expert.
You may have come across him at various RoSPA congresses.
Regards, Ross
