I've known this in the past. Everyone gets a card at the beginning of the scheme and a number is drawn for each day without accident. Winner gets a prize. Persons injured during the period may or may not be excluded from further draws.

No better/worse than any other scheme. No real drawbacks, but without additional management efforts to improve overall safety it doesn't have any long term effects. Can have short term effects which may be linked to under reporting but it soon fades into the background.

Try running it for six months (it's better than doing nothing) and compare results beforeduringafter.

And then come up with another idea.
